PROFESSIONAL DRIVER TRAINING
Our private proving ground regularly runs professional driver training programmes for the police, fire and ambulance services, as well as delivering training for performance driving instructors.
The emergency services use our facility to learn high speed driving techniques and skid control using our professional instructors, many of whom are themselves former police driving instructors.
Recently we hosted Essex Police's Intercept team and taught them how to get the most out of its high peformance Subaru Impreza STi police cars and to learn the techniques associated with the car's all wheel drive. The training was shown as part of Channel 5's Interceptors, television programme.
We have also hosted young driver programmes and our popular three day vehicle dynamics course is attended by vehicle dynamics engineers from all around the world.
